Woman gives birth to her daughter at a local hospital. When her daughter was born she was found to have a broken collarbone and her left arm was paralyzed. The infant was found to have Erbís Palsy, which is when the nerves in the shoulder are damaged. This was caused by shoulder dystocia, which existed at the time of birth.
